Poultry Farming and Poultry Machines

Poultry is one of the fastest-growing segments of the agricultural sector in India with around eight percent growth rate per annum. The poultry sector in India has undergone a paradigm shift in structure and operation which has been its transformation from a mere backyard activity into a major commercial agro-based industry over a period of four decades. The constant efforts in up-gradation, modification, and application of new technologies paved the way for the multifold and multifaceted growth in poultry and allied sectors. The development is not only in size but also in productivity, sophistication, and quality. The structure of India’s poultry industry varies from region to region. While independent and relatively small-scale producers account for the bulk of production, integrated large-scale producers account for a growing share of output in some regions. Integrators include large regional farms that incorporate all aspects of production, including the raising of grandparent and parent flocks, rearing DOCs, contracting production, compounding feed, providing veterinary services, and wholesaling. The southern region account for about 57 percent of the country’s egg production, the eastern and central regions of India account for about 17 percent, the northern and western regions contribute 26percent of egg production. India ranks 3rd in egg production and 7th in chicken meat production in the world. The poultry industry is concentrated in certain pockets of the country. The State of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu lead the country followed by Maharashtra, Punjab and West Bengal. Feed accounts for 65- 70% of broiler and 75-80% of layer production cost. Maize is the popular cereal used in combination with protein meal like soybean meal which generally determines the cost of compounded feed. So, if we can produce high-quality feed in the most economical way, it will not only cut the cost of production but also yield high profits. Raw materials are changing, formulations are changing and so are the processes in feed manufacturing. Lark being plant manufacturer is aware of these facts and in our endeavor to provide you solutions to produce hygienic feeds at economical cost; we have come up with new designs. Lark Engineering has always made strides to offer the best, in grinding; we have the patented models that can outperform to give the required texture suitable for pelleting or mash, fine to the course at a minimum of 40 % power saving. Similarly, in mixing, we have patented variable cross-section, double ribbon design that can achieve the best of mixing in the shortest time. In pelleting, if we produce high-quality pellets with a minimum of power, without or minimum recirculating fines, we will save energy not only for our self but for the nation too. Lark has designed pellet plants in compact configurations that have saved 50 % structure and required less space, without compromising on safety, and quality. Even for small farmers, we have a wide range of feed mills for producing poultry feed ranging from 300 kg/ hour to 30 ton/hour production capacity. The above information is based on data collected from our existing customers & internet sources and is only for your reference. As expertise in feed mill engineering only, Lark Engineering will not be responsible for any type of loss occur due to above stated information.
